“Running” or “Breaking” pliers are used to break glass after the glass has been scored. Simply align the jaws of the pliers over the score with the aid of the printed centre mark and gently squeeze. For repeated use, you’ll find it handy to use the set screw to adjust to the desired thickness and avoid squeezing too hard.
